Hi: I just bought a Sakar Mc auto 35-200mm zoom (1010666) and it also came with a Zykkor auto 2x Teleconverter.

Is there an adapter that will let it work on my Canon Eos Rebel T3?

I got this at the local Goodwill, so I only have 10 days to return if it doesn't work.

    Hello,

And I have never heard of this lens, so I had to do a little looking around on the net. It looks to be a lens that is made in a number of different mounts for cameras in the days of film.

Possibly. It depends on the mount of the lens that you have brought. But even if you are able to find what mount your lens is, and you find an adapter, it is going to be a bit of a PITA to use. What I would suggest is to return the lens and converter and be on the lookout for an EOS lens in the focal length you are looking for.

Welcome to the forum, Kantuck, can you put a picture of the mount end of the lens, other wise we can only guess and that will not help you.

Thank you, Craig. I've decided to return it to Goodwill. I've been pretty lucky with them. Got the body, then a month later, a couple of nice lenses too.

Gary: Thank you for the advice. I've decided to return it to my Goodwill, and just keep an eye out for more Canon lenses. I've been exceptionally lucky; got the body and then a month later two new lenses. But less than $75 for all 3.

Kantuck, as some-one who volunteers at one of St Vincent de Paul Society's good will stores down here in Tasmania, my advice to you keep in contact with them as regular customers tend to get a little extra help when good lenses come in and I am sure this will happen where you are too.
