Irratating message

    Equipment:
    Rp camera, 18-50 stm zoom, 35 mm, 16 mm
    I have a rp, bought a new 16mm lens. Every time I switch the camera on with this lens it tells me the firmware needs updating. But updating the firmware is impossible as I have an iPad and no way of downloading software to a sd card. I am quite happy with the images, how do I stop the message?
