Hi. Been reading up a lot, but cannot find a definitive answer. I am trading up my Canon 650D - mainly because I want the ability to transfer photos on occasion wirelessly to my phone or pc. I've read that you can buy adaptors for Mirrorless cameras to use EF lens, but do they work (more importantly work well) with EF-S lens? If not I'll stick with a newer DSLR Canon camera Thank you
yes, i have the M50 and ef-s lenses work exceptionally well on it i use some specific to the efm system, some ef and ef-s and some vintage M42 mount lenses, obviously outside the efm lenses the correct adapters are needed, the canon ef adapter will run ef-s lenses on the efm system which body are you thinking of getting, i doubt it will be the efm system but thats my experience, from sigma ef-s 50-150mm EX APO OS via ef to efm adapter on M50
Thank you. I was considering the EOS R7. What Adaptor would i need for EF-S lens (of which I have plenty!) Excuse my lack of knowledge, I've not taken my photography seriously for years now, but now have the time to reignite my interest
