Apart from the obvious, Google is your friend here Craig. There are so many 'expert' recipes that it's difficult to come up with an answer. In Barcelona it rained at the beginning of the month and it lasted several days without sun, which was good for me to take photography from my house, because I don't go out much except to go to the supermarket, since my wife is not feeling too well.
