If I rotate the screen - to get a better view of it - the image on the display flips upside down. I had a look thought the menu and couldn't see anything related to the image except the ability to mirror/not mirror. So is there a setting that stops it?
is this on M50 mk1 or mk2? i have the mark 1 and dont have this problem when viewing the scene while shooting, i think the mk2 had auto rotate i don't know if thats a thing you can switch off or are you refering to reviewing an image in camera after taken
I should have said M50 MK1. I am referring to the image on the display flipping as I rotate the display. The video out of the camera is fine on review and computer. I did learn to read upside down, something to do while getting a bollocking from my school headmaster; but an upside down image is not easy on my brain. Still "autorotate" gives me something to hunt for in the menus.
dont know, i dont do much video with mine but i cant get it to flip upside down when shooting a video image on the screen seems to stay right way up when you say you learnt to read upside down, does the setting infomation flip upside down and the image remain the same or does the image and the settings text flip upside down do you have a clip of it doing this? the only way i can get the info upside down is to have the camera pointing down and looking at the camera's hot shoe/ ie top of the body then rotate the screen towards me. when the screen info is upside down to you what orientation is the camera to you, ie what surface of the camera are you looking at and what type of video orientation are you shooting
