Hi, I just bought a second hand EOS R. When I'm in AV mode, my camera is not focusing when I press lightly the shutter button.... only in A+ and C1, C2, C3 mode... What I'm doing not right?

Is it possible back button focus is setup? My guess is yes and the custom modes are reflecting a non BBF setup. But this is not a setup I have tried out on my cameras so i can't be sure.

If you have brought a new to you camera. The first thing that I would be doing is finding the factory reset option, and resetting the camera functions.

It was indeed back button focus that was activated. Even with resetting to factory settings, this was not reset.... I read many photographers uses this to focus in stead of half pressing the shutter button to have more control. So I will see what I will do.
