is anyone else getting blown out color. Red totally blown out red. my Nikons nor my Pentaxes do that however my XT & T5 are just over the top. any suggestions
Not going to be much help here but have you set the camera sensor parameters to something other than the factory settings? If you do not have any special settings that you need, you could try and find the factory reset option and reset. I am a novice but have found that altering the white balance to a manual setting seems to change the appearance of colours so you could try altering the WB.
I don't have problems with distorted colors while shooting. I enjoy using a P&S Canon PowerShot A720 IS for Street Photography and the colors are vivid and bright. As a matter of fact, I enjoy using this modest camera than my other two cameras: Fuji X-30 and Canon T2i. I'm not a professional photographer, just somebody who enjoys photographs, especially Macro Photography.
Is your "Picture Style" set to anything but neutral? If it is, try setting it back to neutral. I always shoot in this mode, and then I can edit it on my computer if I want to change things like contrast, brightness, or saturation.
It has been my "Picture Style" for a while. Now that you mentioned, "Neutral", I'm curious to give it a try. Thank you for raising the issue. Hope to exchange more information with you; I'm still learning the ropes.
Ok guys, Thank you all for the responses. It has taken me a few months of trial and error but I've found a WB adjustment that corrects the issue Big ups to everyone who replied Thomas
