    After we finish our camera giveaway, we are planning on running our first photo contest for Canon Forums. Official rules are TBD but I want to start a poll/discussion on what everyone thinks our first theme should be. Below are some ideas I had but we can always add more ideas if interest is high.

    I would also prefer landscapes but anything would be fine if it prompted people to get out and use their gear.

    What this means?

    I voted for a Landscape first, but I would have liked film. Anyway, I think film is not suited for the first time contest.

    Night Photography.... lets get out of our comfort zone, shoot unsure, shoot in the dark, grab whatever little light there maybe, bring it to the bright.....don't be afraid theres nothing in the darkness but light

    Voted for landscape. As already mentioned, anyone can participate. Even point & shoot users. Found my Canon D60 6mp DSLR. Not sure I could still use it. What a small lcd screen.
