So, I stumbled across these lenses last week end. The Canon 135mm prime reviews very well. The Tamron Adaptall 2 28mm lens looks pretty bitchin. They cleaned up well and the apurature acts quick. Can't wait to mount em and shoot em!

Be interested to lnow how the Tamron glass compares to nFD glass. I pretty mcu gave up trying for Canon nFD lenses as every singlenone I have acquired has had problems. Either full of dust or shot mechanics. As I have a lot of mounts to consider I decided to give Tamron a try as I managed to pick up some minty ones for not much cash.
I have one of those cool little 28mm adaptall 2 lens F2.5 to 32 aperture range. Fitting it on my 60D the crop factor takes it up to 44.8 mm. To use this lens for landscape photography, I fitted a Japan Optics 0.43 Wide Lens to it and it now come back to 19.3mm. Without the 0.43 lens attachment it is a nice small lens for street photography. Well worth the purchase.
I have the 24, 135 and 300 in prime plus a 75-200 zoom and a whacky 35-105 zoom they are all Adaptall 1 series apart from the 75-200 zoom. Havent shot much yet as I tend to stick with a 50mm most of the time. Originally I was only going to buy OEM gear for each camera but the cost turned out to be too high and the availability is not good either of minty glass. Some of the prices are scary these days. Cant ever see me getting another OM 1.2 or any of the Nikon glass I used to own.
Ive a fair bit of Tamron stuff had some great results plus some of the oem canon lens are not so hot! the 500 F8 mirror don't get the same press as the Tamron which seems to trump them all!. Ive a near enough new 80-210 F3.8/4 Tamron zoom inc case and outer box that's surplus atmo to requirements plus some others
