A photographic anomaly. Or is it an Enigma?

I do not know what type of flower this is. To me the Enigma is the white stuff in the background. It was not there in the viewfinder when I took the shot. In the background

when I took the shot were blue sky and tree tops. At any rate, I felt the image turned out quite well with a very pretty subject and decided to share with you awesome friends

and amazing photographers. Many thanks for viewing. Yes, I am aware of the sharpening artefacts. So, sue me. [IMG]

Unusual flower Tony. Striking colour. I reckon I could pop a blue sky in there in no time.
