    Composition is ok, Kevin but your highlights are blown out, which means you are getting too much light hitting he sensor, the solution to this is to use a neutral density filter or a faster shutter speed, also have a look at your light meter in the camera's view finder as this will help with your cameras settings.
    Above all keep trying.
