This months photo challenge is "Food" Photography. It's based on some discussion in the March thread and I went with it, sorry for being so late to post this, it was a long weekend.

    Happy shooting!

    Again, the rules are simple:
    • Should be be using some canon gear , this is a canon forum after all.
    • Shot with the assignment in mind, go out and shoot something new don't dig up something from the archives.
    • and most importantly have fun.

we did food last april, maybe as we have had some quite open ones we could go with "chocolate" as this is in the theme discussed on the thread and also allows for outside the chocolate box of thinking or you could go with "confectionery" as thats a direct request from the thread and still allows some moment in the subject, but i don't think it should just be "food"

Easter is in April so Easter eggs are definately the go or a painted boiled egg, this is from my early childhood at primary school as my Mum would not let me near a non boiled one.

Sorry for being a bit thick but my old grey matter is a bit like the curates egg at the moment - addled  - are we doing 'food' as in any food or are we doing 'Eggs' - Easter or otherwise?

The challenge is food, this is the decision of the site moderator, being April some of us are looking at Easter style food, eg, Easter eggs, I continued the talk on the subject of painted boiled eggs when in earlier times this was a tradition , what ever you wish to shoot, it's sweet so so what you think fits in with the challenge and have fun,

No probem, he whole idea of the challenges is to get out and about shooting with your Canon camera to a theme and above all enjoy yourself. If you have extended your abilities and are thinking outide the box, the idea of the challenges has been worthwhile

Bonus, first cab off the rank, this delightful little treat is a chocolate easter bunny, since I have diabetes and only can have a taste, I shall only chew it's chocolate arse off and savour it chocolate tail. Yummy

The side lighting has nicely captured the shape of this appealing fruit Craig.
