    This one is very young, probably a juvenile. They have two humps compared with one of Arabian variety. Adults can weigh 2000 lbs, especially the males. Thick fur coat helps them get through brutal winters with temperatures dipping frequently below -40 C. He was frantically running around looking for his mother while making loud calls.

    They are in the endangered list. Their habitat ranges from Central Asia, China, Mongolia and Nubra valley in India.
