I have a Canon 250D, and when I turn it on, it works for a while, then a green screen with several lines appears. It freezes and eventually turns off on its own. If I remove the battery and wait a few minutes, when i try to turn it on again, it powers up, but the same issue occurs. Does anyone know what’s might be causing this?

If it was just the screen I would say a pinched wire between the main board and the articulating screen, seems like you have a larger issue if the main board is shorting out and shutting the camera down. It will take a service call to fix this, they may quote you a hefty price though as labor can add up fast. You may have to decide if the money would be better getting another camera body.
