Edwin, like Johnsey, I don't use them either but if you really want a screen proctor, may I suggest clingwrap. It is a clear plastic wrap that you stretch over containers to seal food in them or a similar product found in most kitchens. Cut a small piece and place it on your screen. You should be able to see the screen and prevent light scratches.

    Hi Edwin,
I am in the other camp. I like screen protectors.
I purchased one for my previous phone and the latest phone came with one factory fitted. I also have protectors on three of my four cameras. The other camera is approaching 13 years old and is still in good condition but has a few small marks on the screen and I think it is too late to worry about it now.
I just like to treat my equipment with TLC and screen protectors are part of that. But it is a personal choice.

BTW, I found plenty of them on eBay for your camera. Plenty of choice there.

All my cameras are second hand and have various scratches but if I had a new one I might be tempted

I think many of them are tempered glass with have uv coatings and anti fingerprint coatings, I would look for that in the description of anything you decide to buy. You don't want something that will bubble, finger print or scratch easy itself.
