Hi: I have a Canon 70D. Am not able to set up my WiFi so I can use my iPhone to remote control my 70D. I tried 1) Camera access point mode 2) Easy Connection 3) The only selection I have is to Cancel. 1) Camera access point mode 2) Manual Connection 3) Enter my nick name 4) Auto Setting 5) AES 6) Enter my Encryption 7) It shows my settings but the only option I have is Cancel again 1) Camera access point mode 2) Manual Connection 3) Enter my nick name 4) Manual Setting 5) None (Encryption) 6) It shows my settings but the only option I have is Cancel again 1) Camera access point mode 2) Manual Connection 3) Enter my nick name 4) Manual Setting 5) AES (Encryption) 6) Enter my Encription 7) It shows my settings but the only option I have is Cancel again None of the above allows me to save the setting, Is there another place I need to set in order for me to save above settings? Please advise.
The camera access point / wifi turns your camera into a hotspot to connect to once you cancel you shut down the hotspot broadcast.. The big takeaway here is the camera is the wifi, it does not connect to wifi. This allows you to connect you computer and grab files off of it. I assume your phone can see the wifi and connect to the 70d. You will need camera connect application to control the settings on camera.
Thanks, I was able to connect my 70D to my iPhone. Just did not realize after I did above steps, I need to connect my iPhone to my 70D to pair thanks
