Canon M50 mark ii and Laowa 100 mm macro lens not clicking snaps

    Hi
    I have canon m50 mark ii and recently purchased laowa 100mm macro lens. But when i try click snaps it does take snap instead it shows some bliking sign which i dont understand. I will be deeply appreciate if anyone guide me through this.

    what adapter are you using?i've only ever used the canon ef to efm adapter, works well.
    i have that lens and it works on my M50, it doesn't play well with an extender on it though

    also have you set the camera to release shutter without lens? the lens is a manual lens except for the aperture, i'd already set mine to this long before i got that lens so i'm not sure if that will make a difference but its worth trying


    also laowa make an efm 65mm 2:1 macro lens wich is a direct scaled down version of the 100mm EF lens, both give excellent super sharp images, the 65mm efm version being smaller and lighter makes for a better field carry, i still have the 100mm as its a nice studio lens to have as well
