Hi, went to switch on my Canon M50 MK2 today and it wouldn't turn on. I use it primarily to stream on twitch. With the camera I also bought the original Canon power adapter and a dummy battery. This was recomennded by the local Canon retailer that I bought it from in order to reduce problems down the line. Important to note that when I install the normal battery the green led flashes for a few seconds and then it stops. I can also hear it click once.
Battery and card slot doors on canon cameras have a pin that gets depressed by the door informing the camera that the door is shut. Is it possible that the pin is broken? (I am assuming the battery is charged btw.)
