    Hi

I have a question about using the correct focus setting on a R7 for stage photos... mainly bodybuilding.

Basically, I need to get the athlete's complete physique in perfect focus, at a fast rate, to reduce blur as much as possble.

I tried using the eye detection option. The athletes face will be perfect, but sometimes, if there is another athlete next to him/her, they tend not to be as sharp, or the rest of their physique is not as sharp.

Especially during posing routines... I would need the best setup, it is useless using eye detection.

Should Servo be on? I usually leave it on.

Becasue of the stage lighting, shutter speed is set to approx 256 or slightly faster. Fstop is usually 5.6 or slightly lower.

For example, sometimes I need to take at least 12 shots as fast as possible, so I would not have time for the camera to select the best point of focus.

ISO is set to automatic, due to the light fluctuation from left to right of the stage.

Can somebody explain the best setting for these types of photos?

    Thanks
