    Hi
I think maybe my Canon RP is overheating. This appears to knock out AF. At first, I thought it was the lens playing up (RF24-105mm). But it also happened with another lens. Would a firmware update sort it out (if there is one).
    Any ideas, anybody? Thanks

Why do you think it is overheating? I would not think AF is a symptom.
No mirror-less cameras here, but I would definitely recommend a firmware upgrade if available. Its not uncommon for bugs that get sorted in the first few firmware releases on any camera.

What version of firmware is installed on your camera?

Also, what are you doing when your camera starts to have problems?
