I just completed an introductory photography class. It was taught by a local professional photographer, bet held at a local cat cafe. The cats were often our practice subjects. Here are a couple that I am particularly happy with. cat1.jpg cat2.jpg

The lighting and exposure are good. But the first thing I noticed is that you have cut their tails off. You had plenty os space to incliude the whole cat and I think it would have been better if you had. Just my 2 cents worth.

Good catch. The class I had just completed had talked about rule of third, so Inwas practicing that concept, not even realizing I cut the tails off, lol. That is something I will keep in mind moving forward Thank you!

A good place to start learning. My 2 cents worth would be to watch your white balance. The second shot has a bit a colour cast going on. But other than that, looks good.
