    same insects with some very tiny mites, 28mm ef-m macro lens

    I have found the same situation with in flowers, you will find colonies of insects within the flower and smaller mite on which they feed.
    You can spend a hour or two on safari in the garden and only have to move a very short distance and when the need for a coffee or toilet break happens it is only a short dash inside.

    in my bath the ants farm aphids, they milk them for juice..........................i should explain, i have a bath in my front garden as a 'window box' as i have bugger all for a garden.

    pottering around in the backyard even though it is not gardenafied still can produce results with macro photography.
