I have an EOS M and am using a 512 G Sandisk Extreme Plus memory card. I have formatted the card on my computer and then in the camera. Once I take a couple of pics though, I can't seem to take anything else. I hit the shutter button, but nothing happens. Any ideas or suggestions?

Does the camera immediately take more images if you format again in camera? In other words is the camera acting like the card is full? The camera is over 10 years old right? How old is the card? My first thing to rule out is that the card is failing, should be easy to use a good working SD card to verify this.
