Hello, I have a Canon EOS R and I would like to be able to have the viewfinder (EVF) stay on as long as the camera is on. However, no matter what I've tried, I can't get the camera to stop turning the EVF off after about 5 seconds of having nothing trigger the sensor that activates the EVF. These are the settings I've tried: • Display Settings: Auto & Manual • Power Saving (Viewfinder Off): 3 min & Disable • Disp. Performance: Power Saving & Smooth None of these settings prevent the EVF from automatically turning off. I thought that switching the "Viewfinder Off" setting in "Power Saving" to Disable would prevent it from turning off, but it doesn't. I know it will use more battery with the EVF on constantly, but the EVF turning off is hindering my ability to shoot spontaneously and in the moment. Is this normal behavior for the EOS R, or is there some setting I'm missing?
