    Hello all!

I’m having a issue getting my EOS R to shoot high speed continuous with my 600 EX II RT speedlight. Seems the most I get is maybe 2fps (if that) with the speedlight attaches to the hot shoe. I shoot macro images and shoot in manual only. The speedlight is set to manual, 1/128 power my iso set at 320 @F/5.6 using my 100mm F/2.8L lens. I also have the canon battery pack to shorten the recycle time on the flash. With brand new batteries I’m only getting 2fps ‍♂️. Any idea how I can increase this to the 8fps it’s supposed to do? The camera body will shoot 8fps WITHOUT the speedlight enabled. I’m seriously at a loss here figuring this out. I’ve talked to Canon and they seem to think there is a issue with how the mirrorless body responds to the speedlight (theirs was doing the same speed, 2fps) .
