    Hello!
So I have a Canon 6D and new with the wifi stuff. I wanted to know if it's possible to connect PC and 6D without the PC having wifi. The PC is directly connected to the router via ethernet cable and my 6D to the router via wifi. I have tried it and it seems not to work, i just wanted to know if this is possible or I am doing something wrong.
    Thank you.

There are steps to setup your camera with an IP and connect to the network through the router. https://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/8/0300009248/03/eos6d-wff-im3-en.pdf Starts on page 55. Generally wifi works better in the default setting where the camera becomes the access point and the printer or computer connect to the camera as its own wifi. I should warn that any wifi/network transfer is slow and you are better off with using a card reader.
