I previously posted a thread for help getting a 760D (T6s)connecting to my Windows PC(s). I had tested on 4 PCs (laptops and desktops) and failed on two inc. the one I needed to use. Problems like this turn me into a "Dog with A Bone" mood. After 7 days of beating my head on that wall I have resolved my issue. NOTE : This does apply to my Canon 760D camera so no guarantees. The Canon website offers ONE version of the Utility. The latest. And herein lies the problem. V1.2 does not work !! If you click on the 760D on Canons UK website for the Utility you end up with "Page Not Found". So my copy was from US site. A suggestion was to use new Webcam Pro V2 (from US). That does NOT work either. To resolve my problem I stumbled across Version 1.1 - this was on a non UK or US Canon website - I forget what country. I de-installed V1.2 from my PC (Control Panel/Apps). Rebooted. Installed V1.1 - Rebooted. I then opened OBS V29. Plugged in the camera via USB and after a scary pause my camera connected. One other tip - not mine - sometimes it helps to remove the memory card. I had to do this once but not every time. I have now tested on 5 PC's (all varied specs, aged 10 to 2 years old) without falure. The PC are all running WINDOWS 10 HOME 22H2 edition. I hope this may be of help to other users. (if you cannot find V1.1 let me know)
