Considering the vast volumes of FD Breechlocks that Canon must have churned out as the AE-1 was selling like hot cakes where are all the breechblocks now ? All I ever see are the horrid 'New' FD Lenses which are nasty, plastic, non repairable and for some reason they are allways full of dust suggesting the sealing wasn't very good thanks to the cheap and nasty plastic construction. On top of that all the scenic hands I have seen and touched have very loose focusing rings and just look baaaaaaad. So where have all the breechblocks gone - you know the solid ones with the metal locking ring at the base ?
