I started on LF back in the late 1960's Craig whilst in the RAF using an MPP S92, the military version of the MPP Micro Technical camera. Sadly age related physical issues and my ever-present companion 'Arther Itis' means LF photography field trips are a distant memory. I've just sold the Shen Hao to someone just starting out in LF so I am now restricted to indoor and garden shoots with my MPP MkVII or Mk VIII or my great fun camera, an Intrepid 5x4 MkII.
I have a toyoview 4x5 and two 8x10s. I have not used them yet as I have to build a darkroom, this has been a very slow ongoing project since covid was first around. It's been a very slow project.
I abandoned 10x8 many decades ago Craig when I lost access to a 10x8 enlarger and found contact printing too limiting. LF 5x4 colour also whent the same way when the cost went beyong what I could realistically afford. The same goes for the premium brands of film, both B&W and Colour, so for the last few years I standardised on Fomapan 200 for my 5x4 stuff, Fomapan 200 for my day-to-day 35mm stuff and I have a small stock of my favourite HP5+ and FP4+ in both 35mm and 120 format for when I'm feeling a bit expansive.
