    You're welcome Tony. I see these types of ducks every day at my local lake (if it's not dried up), so very lucky I guess. It was bone dry for a while until the 30th March when we copped over 40mm of rain (1.5 inches) overnight and it filled the lake. The ducks came back and all is good again!

    These two types 0f water fowl are in large populations down here in Tasmania as well.

    G'day Craig. The Tasmanian ecology supports many varieties and large numbers of birds, which is rather heartening and good news.
