Trying out one of my Canon FTBn bodies -- the one given by a Camera Club friend some years ago. It still has a working 'Illegal' MERCURY Battery ! I have cleaned up the 35mm f3.5 SC Breechlock lens I got for £ 1-00 in a Camera Club auction -- there us still some 'hazing' inside and on one ( not scanned) I got lens flare. I also used my 300mm f2.8 Tokina AT-X lens bought some years ago expensive for when I was getting some 'Sport' Photography work for local newspapers and then they no longer wanted FILM photos and then all the work stopped, so I am left with the lens I hardly use ! I also used the short length of outdated 02/1999 Kodak TMY 400 I had used before in home-made ID11 formula and which developed to a dense black with grain like Golf Balls-- this time I mixed a new batch and gave it the 'Ilford ID11 'time of 10.5 mins instead of the 'Kodak D76' time of 12.5 mins and some negs were thin but where I had given slightly more exposure the contrast was good. It seems the first batch of ID11 had increased in activity over a period of non-use. Here I used the 35mm f3.5 SC Canon Breechlock lens with 'Mirror up' for 'candids' as this 'Character' walked down my road in Brentwood using his phone.
