On college newspaper staff in the early 1970's we had both Pentax and Canon equipment. I had a chance to purchase a used Pentax H1a and started using Pentax cameras which continues to this day. However, we also had a Canon FTb at the newspaper, which was also an excellent camera. Along the way, while I built my collection of Pentax equipment, I also acquired an FT, FTb, several AE1p's and and EOS Rebel along with all the lens that come with a significant case of LBA! Have always considered Canon as my "go to" if I ever left Pentax. Still try to run film whenever I can. Hopefully, I can use my equipment more in the near future since I am about to start retirement.
