YO !! Today my Camera Club Mate let me have a go with his 7D + EF 85mm f1.8 lens ! We set 'Single Shot, Cloudy White Balance, 'AV' auto Exposure , f4 ' and I could understand all that so took a few Snaps before I got too cold and had to go home. ( Had been in Hospital at Basildon so had to be careful) CANON Forum 01.jpg CANON Forum 02.jpg CANON Forum 03.jpg CANON Forum 04.jpg CANON Forum 05.jpg

Nice images Pete, and good to see you getting out and about with a camera.

I recognize your wife from previous images you have of her.

How did you find the 7D?

Nice images Old Film Bloke. I have a Chinese brand 85 mm F1.8 lens I use on my 60D and 1D Mark 3. like the 50mm F1.8 it is excellent for for low light and portrait and street shots unfortunately it is my most under used lens. I tend to have a preference for my 28 - 105 mm zoom lens. After seeing your images it has stimulated me to drag it out of my camera bag and start using it again.
