I like to frequent the lake to photograph the Osprey & Great Blue Heron. The Osprey have migrated south for the Winter, but the Heron stay year round. I call this guy "Hank The Heron. " He caught a small Blue gill for a snack. As I was leaving, he caught a large fish. I was quite a distance from him by that time. I tried to pull him into focus when all of a sudden; "Gulp!" the fish was gone. I missed a great set of photos by about 2 minutes. Maybe next. Here is one I was able to get Hank & His Fish 1.jpg
