Hi to all of you out there. Firstly let me confess that currently I do not have a Canon camera albeit I did own an FTb with a 1.4 lens back in the early 60's I believe and used it to the full including doing a great-deal of my own D&P in the days of Ilford 125 and the several choices of Colour Reversal of the day. I favour FujiFilm and also had some very good results with Anschrome (500 as I recall). I have been scanning the ads for an FTb again but am staggered at the prices that they are achieving and most are body only,mint 1.4 lenses are fetching telephone numbers. I reluctantly joined the digital age some 12yrs ago with a dip in the water - with a Fuji FinePix S5700. My preference is still with 35mm film but I also have two other Fuji FinePix cameras purely for the convenience of the immediacy that digital can offer. My all time favourite camera is my Yashica 230AF with the 35-70 Macro and an addition 70-210 this was all bought new in 1991 plus a 75-300 Macro followed a few years later with the addition of anther absolutely mint Yashica 230AF body. The Trap Focus facility was what clinched it along with the very very quiet shutter action that many other cameras lacked.
