It is great to see young people interested in photography. Cameras sure have come a long way since I was 12.
Spot on cooldood, photography is one of those passions that can lead us into different directions, besides recording various moments in our lives.
WOW !! I was 15 when i started Photography in 1951 ! I used my Mum's 1930's Kodak Brownie 'Hawkeye' Box Camera with ex-RAF Film ! I joined the School Photographic Society then the Soiuth Essex Camera Club in 1952 -- I was the Youngest member but it did nmot 'Put Me Off' seeing 'OLDER' members -- I just thought of them as 'Fellow Photography Enthusiasts' and I got LOTS of help from Fellows of The Royal Photographic Society -- when I was in my 20's I joined the RPS and got my ASSOCIATESHIP (ARPS after my Name! ) got into my first 'Professional Photography Job' in 1959 after I came out of the British Army ! If you are any where near to BRENTWOOD in ESSEX please visit Brentwood & District Photographic Club any Friday at 1945 hrs ( NOT 'Good Friday) and ask for Peter Elgar ---
