    Hi,

After shooting a lot of pictures today in my own garden and a lot of trouble to finally upload them to my computer (took like 4 hours) I can find them all in the folder I've downloaded them to but now I want to add some pictures to my social media and I can only find 2 of all the photo's I took in the map I have put them in.
The other 100'ds of photo's I took today are no where to be found if I want to upload them, but when I open the map I have put them in I can see all of them...
Can anyone help me with this please.

Welcome to the forum, Dieter, one way to possibly track down your images is upload another image and see where your computer has saved it too. It generally is saved in a Download folder or use your computer's search engine to locate the image files number. You can find this number on your camera memory card. All the best with it.

I see you said you can find the folder, but not upload to social media. There are many things I am not clear on here.
Sounds like you can see them on the hard drive. Is the software you are using unable to see the images?
Did you shoot JPG or Raw? Which software did you edit them with?
Facebook can not read a raw file, only the canon software and other imaging software programs like adobe photoshop/lightroom will read raw files. You need to import raw into an editor then make your edits, and export a jpg for upload to the web. You can shoot jpg and raw by the camera if you want to take the images straight to the web.

Just to add one more question. How do you transfer your images from your camera to your computer?

There are few ways to transfer your photos to your computer. You can use a card reader for your camera's SD card. You can also connect the camera and computer via the cable that came with the camera. And, you can
use a Photo App to Import and Organize Your Photos.
