I just found these forums, even though I've been using Canon cameras and lenses since the 1970s, beginning with an AE- 1. Obviously, I'm a Canon fan. I have been a professional photographer shooting stock photos, and editorial images. the editorial work has published in grade school, high school, college, and children's books. While I have used digital, my heart belongs to film. I just recently acquired an F-1n and a couple of FD lenses. My freezer is always stocked with various films. I confess to shooting both 35 and medium format, 6x4.5, 6x6, 6x7. Today my work is my own for my pleasure or experimentation.
Welcome Dave, you will find there is a number of us here with a love of film,the cameras and lenses that use it. Digital doesn't give that rush of opening that pack of newly printed photos for the first time.
