I moved to Eaton six years ago from the Perth hills. A great spot with the estuary and 3 rivers within 10 minutes drive. I am probably really a holiday photographer but all my pics are of landscapes or birds.

I enjoy taking photos of birds and am gradually getting better at catching them in flight.

I hung on to film by the fingernails before moving from my Pentax MZ5n to a Canon 600D. Now have a Canon 90D

Welcome to the forums Chris, glad to have you! Did you come over from the pentaxforums?
I too primarily shot Pentax for film starting with a k1000 when i was 12, and moving on to a LX a 645n and a 67II. The medium formats haven't got the love they should been at least 5-6 years since the last role of film.

    Hi Johnsey,
Haven't been on a forum before
I started out with rangefinder Kiev's 4A, then Zenith B, Pentax ME, to Canon MZ50, MZ5N and Canon since then.

I could never afford a medium format so that's why I went with SLRs.
    Thanks for the welcome

    Thanks Craig,
I'll be on family vacation in Tassie this October. Might contact you nearer the time to see if you've got and good bird photo spots before we go. Still working on the travel plans just now
