This past Tuesday I went to Melville, NY to Canons home office for a one on one training session. It was well worth the horrible traffic I had to deal with to get there. In the future I would drive up the night before and stay at the Marriott down the street.

It was a great learning experience and I was glad I waited a few months before going up. Being new to the Canon system, just switched in July, I was familiar enough with it to be able to take in everything. Can't wait to see what kind of classes and location learning events they have for 2018. I am going to try to make it to at least one class and one destination workshop next year if my schedule and budget permit.

The weather was crappy, windy and rainy and I don't really have the best lenses for photographing buildings so I only took a couple shots.
