    We are engaged in renovating our spiral stairs - definitely in need of a bit of TLC - mind you, if I look this reasonable at nearly 400 years old, I shan't complain!

    they look good for 400 years old
    i love very old stone steps that have had alot of foot steps on them over centuries, the stones are worn awy by the constant foot fall
