I've just bought an EOS R8 and cannot connect it to my phone via Bluetooth. Having watched many many YouTube videos nothing works. I think the camera isn't connected to my router. All the videos refer to clicking on the spanner symbol which then takes you to the steps needed to connect the camera. Neither of the 5 tabs on this setting refers to internet. So I click on the squiggly arrow symbol to the left which takes me to "Connect to Smartphone".then "Add device" then to "Start Canon app". Which I do on my phone. Back to camera. Get to "Connect to Smartphone" page which shows the camera name. Wheel of doom followed by "Connection not found". Then nothing happens. The wheel of doom just carries on until "connection target not found'. Any ideas?
