    Hi Everybody,
    My name is Luisa.
Im a woman with 4 children.
    Married.
    Living in the Netherlands,Europe.
I used to photograph dogs a lot.
    But not professionally.
    But a hobby.
    I had the 30d,then the 40d and then i bought the 7d.
I had it for years and it never let me down.
    Ever.
Untill i put a Tamron lense on it.
Im not blaming Tamron in general.
But there seems to be a problem with this specific lense.
I normally use my Canon 70-200mm 4.0 lense.
I always had great joy from it.
My son is a very enthousiastic carspotter and got an old 350d from my brother with the Tamron lense on it.
It gave a lot of error 99s.
My son phoned me one day asking to borrow my 7d.
    Because his 350d fell out.
Changed the lenses and i think that was the final blow because his camera doesnt work anymore with the Tamron.
It does go on but errors right away.
So i put my own canon lens back on my 7d and it worked for a while but when i left it and came back to stay if it was still alive it wasnt.
I have no idea what could be wrong.
Any advice would be highly appreciated.

Ps we have 2 snakes, a dog, fish, chickens, and giant snails.

Welcome to the forum, Luïsa, in Tasmania we have 3 snake species, Tiger snake, Copper head and a whip snake. All poisonous. The Canon 350D is a nice little camera, I have 2 of them, my students use in my Photography class. Now to the problem with the Tamron, other than cleaning the contacts, there is little I can suggest other than to replace the lens.

    Tasmania! Wow!
Im sure youre missing a bunch of Taz's because they seem to be in my house.
    ;)
So cool to "meet" someone from such an awesome place.
    I think youre right.
I should get him another set to work with.
    Such a shame though..
I hope my 7d will be ok for a while.
I made a lot of clicks with that one.
It never failed me untill recently but he is in his pension age.
Im going to try it out again.
    There is a ponyshow today.

    Kind Regards Luïsa
