Part of a flower bunch that didn't make the main vase because lilies are poisonous to cats and our cats are little shits so they cant be trusted, this is one i put in a small jar with a few other bits. Canon M50, efm 32mm ƒ1.4 @ ƒ7.1, ss 2 sec, iso 100, tripod, in my front room with florescent room light colours are accurate jpeg, no post edits except for resizing, might have to try and get this one in some daylight tomorrow, nice flower
Same flower same session, this time getting a close up of the Anther M50 now with the Laowa efm 65mm ƒ2.8 2:1 macro lens, @ ƒ5.6, ss 3sec, iso 100 same conditions as above.
ok i increased the ƒstop to ƒ11 so i could get a bit more of the anther in focus, no i can't be arsed to do photostacking, something i really should do also had to increase the ss to 8 sec
Beautiful Floral Series. You are correct, it is a very nice flower as Day Lilies are one of my favorite to shoot. I like your settings and the fact that you like to use a tripod. I find my images looks so better with the use of a tripod. Many thanks for sharing and well executed. Tonytee.
i had you in mind when i shot them using both the canon 32mm efm and the 65mm macro from laowa if you have an Mpb.com in your country they are a very good reseller of used gear, i got my second M50 and my gf's M50 from them, save your self quite a bit over getting an M50mkII, which was just a firmware update not worthy of a new badge, its still a good camera but its mostly got video tweaks,
i think this is the first lily i've had thats not white, tbh the white ones i've had i'm not a fan of the smell, i'm more intune with the honey and amber sents like buddleja
I have read about Mpb.com and seen their ads on another site I belong to which is: ephotozine.com. Also based out of the U.K., in Nottingham and licensed in Wales. It is a fun site with many friendly folks from around the world who are some awesome shooters. Members are allowed to upload only one photo in 24 hours. We are allowed to vote on images and also issue awards. I recommend you look into it as I am sure you will enjoy it. There is an annual fee of only approximately $21.00 which is very inexpensive for what they offer. Please let me know how you like it. Again, I thoroughly enjoy your Lily images and continue to return to look at them. Thnx again for the info. Regards, Tonytee. What country do you live in, Please? TT.
I'm in London UK, i've used mpb for several years, great service, even when i wasn't happy with the sharpness of one lens they sent the courier out to pick it up at my convenience.
