It is the 8th tallest peak in the world at 26750 feet. Clouds cleared a bit for a glimpse of the towering mountain range.
I was going to comment but what you said covered it, there are not a lot of black and white photos on this site but these shots are very encouraging. It would be nice to see more of this quality, Sundar has really done well.
Thank all. As I said earlier I am on the road and may have issues with spotty internet. More to come.
I have not done black and white for some time, so after Sundar's fine shots , here is another to try and get the ball rolling to get some more on the forum , lens used was a Super- Taumar 50mm F1.4 on a canon 60D
I like your thinking about more B&W images. Would it be an idea to start a new thread for just B&W images? Gary
Good idea, Gary. Yes, do it. I will go back through my Canon images and try to find some which would convert well to mono.
Thanks , Ray . I have a few lenses I have not used for a long time so this would be a good excuse to drag them out and get back into black and white.
Yes, it is a good opportunity for me to use my Takumars on the full frame 1Ds. I have the 8-element version of the Super-Tak 50mm f1.4 and I need to give it a work out.
