Missed the eclipse the other day. Would not have mattered too much since by that time before sunrise the moon would be in the trees here. Did catch it the next day. First real photo I have taken since 2018. Did this handheld as I forgot my tripod. I think I could of underexposed a tad to help with details. Brought some out in PS by adjusting brightness/contrast. Still trying to get the hang of editing my photos with poor vision.

    Canon M50, Tamron 70-210 f/4 @ 210mm, iso640, 1/100, f/13.

    A nice first image Ed.

Like you, I missed the eclipse as well due to clouds. I was all geared up and ready to go.

But have at look at this....

Thanks. Not really a first image. Been doing this since 1999. Took a long break since the end of 2016. I know there is a solar eclipse next month (partial for North America I think), but a lot of it will be in the trees at sunrise for me here. Since I no longer drive, I don't have a way to get anywhere which does suck, since I am about 30 minutes from the Gulf of Mexico and a sunrise eclipse with some oil platforms in the frame would look good.
