Night and Stars moon pic upload test

    7artisans 7.5mm m, Laowa 100mm macro ef, laowa 9mm zeroD m, Vintage M42 Lenses:
    Ashi Super - Takumar 1.8 / 55mm,
    uploading this quick snap shot of the moon as an upload test,
    original size is 6000x4000 and it was kicked out as too big so i halved it
    any info on size limits dimensions vs mp etc you can pm me if this thread is for pics only or move to appropriate forum thread.
    cam M50
    lens sigma 100-400 at 400 + X2 canon extender
    hand held at F/20
    iso 100

    Looks good, well done. I have to resize my images from my RP, but not from my 7D.

    There is no need to post full size images as we are viewing them on a monitor or laptop screen.
    My standard is to downsize images to 2048 pixels on the long side.

    i was presently surprised at this daylight pic of the moon, i took it because it was there not expecting to get much detail during the day

    I assume you meant that you were "pleasantly" surprised. It's a good shot which is much improved if you increase the contrast quite strongly.

    yeah i wasn't looking to get the moon it was just a quick snap to see if the af would lock on in the daylight.

    What gear did you use for the daylight capture? Or was it the same as your previous image?

    yes same, just the sigma 100-400 at 400 and M50, no x2
