So, the other day I was swapping out my 24-105mm to my 70-200mm on my 6D and when I turn the power on, the camera and lens pulses, or throbs. On the top LCD display of the camera some of the screen info distorts while the lens is pulsing. Also, the camera and lens will not focus while this is happening. I had thought something got corrupt so I downloaded another copy of the cameras firmware and reloaded it and it still does it. However, when I attach the camera to one of my other lenses, all the other lenses work fine. Obviously it sounds like an issue with the 70-200, just wondering if anyone ever came across this before and how you resolved it?
