    Canon 7D with Tamron 18-270 lens
    Hello everyone, I captured this eagle about two years ago with my Canon 7D and Tamron 250-600 at 600mm aka Bazooka. It was 142 feet and about 60-70 degrees elevation. I shot from front car seat, crouched super low, hand held! My tripod was in the back seat. But I was shook up so I took about 13 shots then lowered my cam and it flew away.
