My word! What an absolutely beautiful photograph of such a majestic animal. One of my favorites. What was the focal length? Was it all the way in? Many thanks for a special treat. TT
Thank you, Tony. It was a surprising bonus for our morning coffee. I was using a 75-300mm lens on the 20D and the effective focal length on the first shot was 216mm (135mm actual). The last two shots (from a different position) were effective 480mm (300mm actual). It was a special treat for me too. The lady at the coffee shop told us that he has been coming back there for 8 years now after his annual migration. They feed him raw meat so he'll keep coming back I guess. These shots were also at 480mm. _MG_0505 by Ray Allen, on Flickr _MG_0506 by Ray Allen, on Flickr
